This whole “Pregnancy” thing is finally starting to become a little more real. Appointments every 4 weeks, a couple of fuzzy black and white pictures, and a few co-pays were the only things that had changed up to this point. I was starting to question if I was a part of a VERY elaborate prank. Almost 23 weeks and she doesn’t look pregnant, she acts the same, and every time we go to the doctors the person we see knows her and they talk and laugh like they are in cahoots…hmmm? But now, Kristin has started nights and the lack of sleep has convinced me that she is actually pregnant and not an evil genius. Nights have really put Kristin on an emotional roller coaster; Tears of joy and sadness are a regular sight, that is, when I actually get to see her. Also, Kristin is starting show, but just barely (Love You Kristin!). We went and bought some maternity clothes, to find out that they are a little too big yet. This puts her in a weird zone where her new maternity clothes don’t fit very well and her normal clothes are just a bit too small. Luckily Kristin will be in scrubs for the rest of the month giving her plenty of time to catch up.
Her pregnancy has brought a surprisingly positive change, she is now craving fruits. Good fruits too! Like Oranges, Apples and Pineapples, not the crappy ones like Peaches and Pears…oh, she is going to be a good baby!
