35 weeks!

Sorry it's been so long since writing! I am now 35 weeks along. Wow, it's hard to believe that this pregnancy is going so quickly! I think even Eric would agree that time is flying by, and he was the one who was so impatient when this whole process started. We recently made a trip back to South Dakota and got a chance to see our families, which was wonderful. We received many baby shower gifts, and I think it is safe to say that our baby will be very well dressed!

I am still very busy with work. I am now on gynecology surgery, and it definitely gets tiring to be operating all day. I think Eric needs to try out his back massaging skills! Patients and staff at the hospital are finally starting to notice that I'm actually pregnant and not just fat. I get many inquiries of whether I'm four months or five months along. Umm.....eight. But don't worry! She's growing fine! One of my attendings had me come over to the ultrasound office to measure her, and she is 40th percentile, 4lbs 14oz estimate right now. So just perfect! I am always disappointed because whenever I look at her with the ultrasound, she never shows her face. She's always got her hands and her feet up by her face (yes, her feet - she's a flexible one!). I guess I'll just have to be patient.
